Polo Star Nacho Figueras Brings Argentinian Elegance to Palm Beach Cuisine

Palm Beach has never been short on places to see and be seen, but this season, the island gains a destination that speaks less to spectacle and more to soul. Its debut in December 2025 coincided beautifully with winter’s most glamorous months. The Polo Room Palm Beach arrived as an elegant new chapter in the island’s dining story, one shaped by heritage, hospitality, and the unmistakable charisma of international polo star Nacho Figueras.

Located at 251 Sunrise Avenue, The Polo Room Palm Beach is attuned to its surroundings, merging elegant atmosphere with refined flavors…key to Palm Beach living.

Inside, the space unfolds with understated luxury. Rich textures, warm tones, and equestrian-inspired details create a setting that feels timeless rather than themed. Custom design elements nod to the heritage of polo while embracing the effortless glamour long associated with Palm Beach. Adding depth and authenticity, the restaurant features a curated art installation created in partnership with renowned photographer Ricardo Motran, known as “Snoopy.” His photographs capture iconic Palm Beach polo moments from the eighties and nineties, offering a visual narrative that connects the past to the present.

Tableside is a continental menu with ingredients rooted in Figueras’ Argentinian past. From handcrafted empanadas to raw bar selections, standout dishes include the East and West Coast Oysters (with champagne mignonette, cocktail sauce, and lemon) alongside delicately prepared crudos like the Big Eye Tuna Tartare with avocado, ponzu vinaigrette, and potato chips and the Polo Room Ceviche Salad with Mediterranean seabass, radicchio, endives, and jalapeños. Seasonal salads include the Florida Citrus Arugula and Fennel Salad (with cherry balsamic, Sicilian pistachio, and pomegranate, as well as the Polo Waldorf with bacon, creamy blue cheese, apple, celery, figs, and candied walnuts.

Pastas are made in-house. Dishes like the Black Truffle Spaghetti (with pecorino and shaved black truffle) anchor the menu, while entrées such as Lobster Frites, served with bearnaise and hand-cut fries, set a tone of classic indulgence. The grill takes center stage with an array of steaks that range from Wagyu cuts to prime cuts, 36 oz porterhouses and 24 oz ribeyes. Seafood entrees are prepared Asado-style, such as the Caramelized Chilean Seabass Veracruz with artichokes, tomatoes, peppers, and capers. Main courses are accompanied by traditional sauces and condiments, from vibrant chimichurri to timeless au poivre.

The Polo Room Palm Beach represents more than a restaurant; it is a personal milestone. “Opening The Polo Room is deeply meaningful to me and my partners from the Polo and Palm Beach community [...] It’s my first venture into the culinary world, and I couldn’t imagine a more special setting than Palm Beach to share this vision.” -Nacho Figueras

Dessert brings a deeply personal touch. Childhood favorites appear alongside beloved classics, including Mima’s Chocolate Mousse, Nacho Figueras’ mother’s cherished family recipe, traditional flan, and dulce de leche crêpes that feel both nostalgic and celebratory.

The bar program is equally considered, with signature cocktails designed to be both playful and precise. Highlights include the Twenty-Two Below Zero ºC Martini with Belluga Gold Line and frozen olives, and The Polo Room Iceberg Skinny Cosmo. Complementing the cocktails is an expansive wine list featuring more than 300 exceptional selections, drawing from some of the world’s most iconic vineyards.

For Figueras, The Polo Room Palm Beach represents more than a restaurant; it is a personal milestone. “Opening The Polo Room is deeply meaningful to me and my partners from the Polo and Palm Beach community,” he said. “Polo has introduced me to extraordinary places, people, and flavors around the world, and this restaurant is a way to bring those inspirations to life. It’s my first venture into the culinary world, and I couldn’t imagine a more special setting than Palm Beach to share this vision.”

Poised to become a gathering place for locals, polo enthusiasts, and travelers alike, The Polo Room Palm Beach opened its doors in early December, welcoming guests for dinner from 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. With its thoughtful blend of cuisine, culture, and place, it promises to be not just a seasonal highlight but a lasting fixture on Palm Beach Island.
