Over two days and at two distinctive Orange County venues, Luna Fashion House presented its European-crafted womenswear against the contemporary backdrop of Tustin and the art-filled landscape of Laguna Beach.

Orange County, California

On August 28 and 29, Luna Fashion House brought its European-crafted womenswear to OC Fashion Week, presenting two runway collections at Ever Members Club in Tustin and Dawson Cole Fine Art in Laguna Beach. Across the two-day event, the Serbian-founded fashion house paired its European design heritage with two distinctly Southern California settings.

The first presentation took place on August 28 at Ever Members Club in Tustin, followed by a runway show on August 29 at Dawson Cole Fine Art in Laguna Beach. Together, the events placed the Serbian-founded fashion house within a Southern California setting where fashion intersected with hospitality, art, design, and lifestyle.

An Evening at Ever Members Club

The weekend began Friday evening at Ever Members Club, where the official program featured Jesse J Collections, Luna Fashion House, and Joe’s Jeans.

The contemporary private-club setting, shaped by hospitality, social gathering, and indoor golf, provided a polished backdrop for the evening. Luna appeared between the opening designer presentation and the Joe’s Jeans runway show, bringing its European design perspective to the Orange County audience.

Margareta Petrovic, President of Luna Fashion House in the USA, joined the finale walk as the presentation came to a close.

The following day brought a change of scenery and an entirely different atmosphere.

Fashion Among the Art in Laguna Beach

On August 29, the program moved to Dawson Cole Fine Art in Laguna Beach.

Established in 1993, the gallery is known for contemporary and modern sculpture, drawings, prints, and works on paper by American and European artists. Its outdoor courtyard and sculpture garden transformed the runway into an intimate setting surrounded by greenery, artwork, and natural California light.

The unusually hot afternoon required fans, water, shade, and other measures to keep models and guests comfortable, but the setting remained an integral part of the presentation. Against sculpture and sunlit landscaping, Luna’s European silhouettes took on a more relaxed character.

Following an opening runway presentation by Melissa Pellone, Luna Fashion House presented a collection that moved between vivid color, tailored structure, feminine silhouettes, and formal eveningwear.

Standout Looks on the Runway

Among the more colorful looks was a vivid fuchsia high-low dress with a high neckline, defined waist, and flowing hem. A fitted red top paired with a wide black midi skirt created a striking contrast between color and structure.

Eveningwear brought additional drama. A blue-and-black gown combined a dark fitted bodice with a sweeping skirt in painterly blue tones, while a sleek navy dress accented with white piping and decorative hardware introduced a more architectural sensibility.

A floor-length white lace gown offered one of the collection’s softer formal moments, combining a fitted silhouette with intricate texture.

Across the presentation, Luna balanced color and movement with the tailored construction that has long been part of the fashion house’s identity.

From Serbia to Southern California

Founded in 1990 by Biljana Jovanovic in Požarevac, Serbia, Luna Fashion House began with tailored clothing for working women before expanding into eveningwear, occasionwear, outerwear, and structured dresses.

The house continues to describe its production as European and limited in scale, with its collections designed and produced through a European atelier. Its U.S. operation is based in Newport Beach through Amaretta LLC, creating a direct connection between the label’s European origins and its presence in Southern California.

That connection was particularly fitting for OC Fashion Week.

At Ever Members Club, Luna’s designs appeared within the polished environment of a contemporary Orange County social club. A day later, at Dawson Cole Fine Art, those same European influences were framed by sculpture, greenery, and Laguna Beach sunlight.

For Luna Fashion House, the two-day appearance became more than a traditional runway presentation. It offered two interpretations of the same design identity, and a distinctly Orange County backdrop for European craftsmanship.
